Christmas with Leo

Our first Christmas with Leo came just one week after we had first taken him home. As Christmas means lots of visiting in strange houses with strange people we were a little apprehensive...

However, Leo was as good as gold (most of the time). He coped with all the new people and places very well. He also dealt quite well with the occasional firework going off outside on Christmas day and on New Year's Eve. The only time he got a bit freaked was during a very loud and unruly game of Pictionary. Leo's family got a little bit over-animated (particularly during celebrating the winning of the occasional pooint in the game) and so did he. A quick walk outisde soon calmed him down though.

Leo's favourite bits about Christmas were:
Jackie and Bob's great big garden;
Meeting another crazy dog in Newark;
Being overfed with constant titbits of chicken and pork from Sandra;
The common at Malvern.

Leo's Christmas presents were:
From Mum and Dad -
Squeaky Santa's head;
Kong football;
Smackos;
Markies;
Chocolate log (which he didn't like for some reason);
Rawhide stocking full of chews.
From Jackie and Bob -
Toughtoys multicoloured spaghetti ball;
More Smackos (definitely his favourite);
From Sandra and John -
Big feeding bowl.
From Elaine and Steve -
Ball on a rope.

Leo says thankyou to everyone who gave him a present or was nice to him this Christmas!

Here he is opening his pressies.
