Leo's Birthday
When we first got Leo in December 2005, his estimated age was five and a half. That meant that his birthday would be in June. So, June 28th (half-way between mine and Kate's birthdays) was fixed as the special day.
To celebrate, we bought him a new lead and collar (we had been using the free ones from the Dog's Trust for six months) and we bought ourselves a cake!
So, here's a picture of Leo in his party hat. Doesn't really look like he's enjoying himself much, does he? It's probably the hat - he clawed it off seconds later.

Holt part 5
Aah - it gets a bit more peaceful now. After several days of running about on a beach, we needed to chill out in the relaxing Priory Maze and Gardens. Here's Kate and the mutt relaxing in the flowers, sort of.
Kate's pretty relaxed, but, as usual Leo is distracted by something or other and is getting ready to chase it down.
Holt part 4
That's me and the dog fleeing the huge waves that are about to engulf us. Or something.
Again, Leo was initially quite enthusiastic about the sea. However he seemed to think it was alive and got a bit scared when it tried to swallow him.
Holt part 3
As well as Sheringham, Cromer beach is also very close to Holt. So here's Leo on Cromer beach with his 99p football. Bargain!
Despite lots of initial enthusiasm, and a decent two footed dribbling ability, Leo soon lost interest and preferred to roll on his back in the seaweed.

Holt part 2
After a lovely day at Sheringham, we caught the steam train back to Holt, and then walked back to our cottage. The is was the first of two separate occasion when the heavens opened and we got unbelievably soaked.
Leo was NOT happy.

Leo goes to Holt part 1
In May, we all went to Holt in Norfolk. Holt is a beautiful, and very individual small town. We had a great time there and visited lots of other towns in the area.
This picture was taken on the beach at Sheringham, which had lots of large boulders for Leo to scamble all over. As you can see, he wasn't always entirely at ease though...
