First visit to the V E Ts
Leo had his first trip to the vets today for a check-up. He was very badly behaved and he has to go back in a month because the vet couldn't examine him properly - he wriggled too much!
General clean bill of health, apart from his cloudy eye which is weird but apparently nothing to worry about. Got some leaflets about behaviour classes which may well be needed...
Despite the trauma he seems to have recovered quickly enough and is now warming himself by the fire. Bless.

We have high hopes that the ball will last longer...
The terrible aftermath
Leo and his toys
We have quickly discovered that leo loves toys. In fact, he loved his teddy so much he basically eviscerated it. Be warned: these pictures depict scenes of extreme violence towards defenceless toys.

Pictures of Leo
Getting Leo from the Dog's Trust
Yesterday we collected Leo from the Dog's Trust in Huyton Merseyside. He's five years old and he looks like:
So far he is being very well-behaved and he seems happy. The only problem is that he thinks our bed is his bed!
He loves his toys - especially squeaky teddy, and he loves licking faces. He also likes licking our wet legs when we come out of the shower - how strange is that?
We owe a big thank-you to all the staff at the Dog's Trust in Huyton for being patient and helpful with us as we searched for the right dog.
Hopefully Leo will settle in (although it seems like he already has) quickly and we'll be able to post more on his adventures in the forthcoming weeks, months and years.
Next installment: Leo's Christmas.
